Volga Burmash (Volgaburmash JSC) in Samara, Russia, traces its history to the Kuybyshev machine building plant established in 1948 and became Volgaburmash JSC in 1994. It is the largest manufacturer in Russia of rock cutting tools and is ranked among the TOP-10 world producers of drilling tools in terms of production quality and turnover.
